Koei is extremely anticonsumer, and they're a garbage company run by garbage people, so don't just take it for granted that because they've released a few PC ports to cash in that you can count on the next game coming to PC, let alone coming to it properly. You know Koei makes TERRIBLE PC ports then they blame it entirely on PC gamers when their games don't do well, they take NONE OF THE RESPONSIBILITY for their own ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ports, like we're supposed to just eat ♥♥♥♥ and ask for more and if we suggest maybe PC gamers should get the same quality that Console gamers get we can ♥♥♥♥ off. Koei is prone to just randomly decide "♥♥♥♥ PC" for no reason.
So why no Samurai Warriors II Empires? Who the ♥♥♥♥ knows? Koei doesn't have to make sense. Samurai Warriors 4 II Empires anyone? Samurai Warriors has some SERIOUS controller compatibility and rebinding issues (because Koei are trash and refuse to fix it) but the PC port of Samurai Warriors 4 II is on the whole VASTLY SUPERIOR to their port of Dynasty Warriors 8 (shows plenty of units on screen, much better graphics, and so on).Īnd Samurai Warriors, while not as well known as Dynasty Warriors, has a lot of potential and a very avid fan base. Speaking of comparisons, they also removed online multiplayer from the PC port, because Koei are trash.Īnd look at all the games they won't even think about porting to PC. Look at a side by side comparison of the console version and the PC port, they ripped visual effects out of the PC port for no reason. Look at this port, unit limits so low that on the highest setting you can't complete timed missions to capture bases because your own allies fill up your screen and there aren't enough enemies displayed on the screen to kill (constant pop in too). Koei is like Konami, don't take for granted that they're going to port their games to PC much less that they'll do a good job.
